Plate – ‘YOU ARE A FEAST FOR MY SENSES’

Cor Unum celebrated their seventieth anniversary with an extensive plate collection.

Ceramics studio Cor Unum ceramics celebrated their 70th anniversary with an exhibition in the beating heart of 's-Hertogenbosch. Cor Unum asked no fewer than 70 young and renowned creatives to design a dinner plate with the Legends & Legacy theme. Never before has work by so many designers, artists, architects and other makers been shown in one exhibition.

Birgit Verwer: For me, 'You Are A Feast For My Senses' encompasses everything that Cor Unum stands for and is all about. That is all the people at Cor Unum and all the people that Cor Unum collaborates with, the material, the shape, the colours, the feeling when you hold a work in your hands, the smell in the workshop. But also how I think Cor Unum has regards for people. This is my ode.

Plates are ‘build-to-order’. This entails that we cannot put your order through to the manufacturing supplier prior to receiving your payment.
